Christina Gamez serves as the founding principal of Lariat Trails Elementary School, bringing more than a decade of experience in Liberty Hill ISD and a strong commitment to creating a welcoming, student-centered school community.

Gamez began her career with Liberty Hill ISD in 2012 as a physical education teacher at Bill Burden Elementary School. In 2017, she joined the founding staff of Rancho Sienna Elementary School, where she taught, led the campus specials team, and supported the opening of the new campus.

Her leadership journey continued at Santa Rita Elementary School, where she served as an assistant principal intern and Tier II behavior coordinator. After earning her Master’s degree in Educational Administration in 2021, Gamez was named assistant principal at Bill Burden Elementary and later became the campus principal in 2024.

Gamez now brings that experience to Lariat Trails Elementary, where she is focused on building a strong campus culture rooted in connection, collaboration, and high expectations.

A Central Texas native, Gamez earned her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University. She and her husband, Nick, have two sons who attend Liberty Hill ISD schools. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family and their goldendoodle, Lucy, and cheering on the Texas A&M Aggies.
